Allen Tate Companiesthe Carolinas' premier real estate firm, named Alison Smith as branch leader and broker-in-charge of the company's Charlotte-SouthPark office.
In this role, Smith will oversee branch operations and lead and grow a team of more than 75 Allen Tate real estate agents and their staff. Since 2021, he has successfully led the Charlotte-Center City office as a Branch Leader.
Smith is the recipient of multiple Allen Tate Awards, including Purpose and Pride, the 2023 Rising Star Leadership Award, and Number One Office of the Year – Small Branch. She has served on Allen Tate's Leadership Advisory Council and has co-chaired the company's annual FUNday fundraiser for public education in 2022 and 2023.
A seasoned professional, Smith has worked in the real estate industry for 15 years, including positions as director of agent development, managing broker, and licensed real estate agent in North and South Carolina. She is an accomplished luxury agent and holds an International Luxury Specialist designation.
Prior to her career in real estate, she worked as a licensed financial advisor in the securities industry and in management and marketing positions in technology, healthcare and service industries. She attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and DeSales University in Pennsylvania with a major in marketing and business.
She is an active supporter of Alzheimer's and dementia research, as well as contributing to the American Cancer Society and Tate Cares.

Smith has been a resident of the Charlotte area for over 24 years. She lives in Uptown's SouthEnd and on Lake Norman. She has two children: Cooper, who attends the University of South Carolina and is majoring in business and finance, and Abby, a high school senior. She enjoys music, art, yoga, golf, boating, exploring, and spending time with her miniature bernedoodle.
